Week #21 in Mexico

Dear Family,

It is going hot, humid, smoky, and good here :) I am excited that you have only 4 days of school left, I loved the summers!!! They were the best hahaha. Good luck with all the girls camp and everything! I think that is another reason that I loved being gone so much during the summers, because I didnt have to do as much of the working part of it ;) hahaha! That is so cool that they won state!!! Yes I do wish it could have been me but what other better thing to have than your best friends do it :) It made me happy to hear that they won it!!! HAHAHA I love the dancing queen part of the year ;) and am excited for the wig picture!!!
No they don't shut things down for anything like that, they arent that lazy... they just do it at different times of the day and don't shut down everything... hahahaha good luck with the flower bed and with the gates too, hahaha what kind of gates do you want? The white kind? The fridge is still broken and he broke it trying to clean the ice out with a screwdrvier... I have not gotten my package yet but it should come either in this week or the next one... yes transfers are every six weeks and we have one today. We are staying the same for one more transfer which is good because I really like my companion :)
We had two baptisms this last Saturday and they are the sister and mom of the kid we baptised last week, and we have a date set in two weeks to baptize the dad. So after that the next goal is the temple :) I baptized Fausto (Kid) and Caritina (Mom) and Elder Gutierrez baptized Elizabeth (Kid). Then I taught a Family Night with a member family about Temples, little did I know that the dad and two kids were inactive and they weren`t married in the Temple. That is exactly what I did my FHE on. So it was kinda like BAM this is what you need to do kinda thing. hahaha The bad news is the other one of our investigators that was going to be baptized had to go to Cancun for his job for a month. We were both like.... uhhh what?, because it was the day before and everything :( but we will still be here for when he gets back :) will you check how many pounds 75 Kilograms are, I benched that at the gym and I am pretty sure it is more than my max when I was at home.... So I decided on a thing that I am going to do when I get home and off the airplane, (probably Jessica will only get this) but I am going to yell "Mission Complete!!!" just like Fox on Super Smash Bros. I thought it was a great idea when I thought of it and really funny too!!!!! hahahaha Jessica show them what I mean, and Yes Mariana is a member here, you can accept her if you want. Also go onto my facebook and accept anyone that is from here, they want to see pictures of me and I have none... And to end, a weird funny story. We were on splits in a different area so that our investigators could be interviewed. The first lesson we have we are talking about the Restoration, we get to the Prophet part and he informs us that he is actuallty a prophet too... So he told us how and why for about 30 minutes, then he also said the final prayer. During the prayer he stood up and put his hands on both of our heads, I had no idea what to do so I just kinda let it go. IT was very weird and very funny hahahaha.

If you could (doesn't have to have everything) have the package contain, Black Cherry Shasta, weight/resistance rope (strongest), Licorice (choc. reg. black), Candy (Reeses, Starbursts, Skittles, Gummy bears, Good and Plentys) stuff like that, and some treats for the family (Warhead treats, they said they likes sour so get them the black ones, Reeses, Good and Plentys, Licorice (red), Twix, They said to have you put your favorites in there) if you can great if you cant great too :) also let me know in like a note or something what is for them and what isnt... hahaha Love you guys Thanks

Dad's Letter:
hahaha thats funny, hope you are enjoying your day off. We had two baptisms last Saturday and they were really good. :) so we are almost done with that Family, just need to baptize that dad now and it will be complete! I baptized the son and the mom and I think I will be baptising the Dad too. So that was really cool, and it is a good thing because the baptism blessing is the only one that I know in Spanish hahaha.
That is awesome that they are state champions!!!!!!!!! Give them hugs for me and tell them great job!!!!!!!! :) I was so excited to hear about that, I havent gotten the e-mail from Riley yet but I am anxiously waiting for it!!!! That awesome about the Pirates now, but sad to hear that the players are going to be leaving, but I guess that happens and we already know how that feels like hahaha. I did get to see the end of the Man U vs. Barca game. It was on where we were eating, and yes Messi is an incredible player. So the Final for the NBA sounds like it is going to be exciting!!! As you know, I love when people are stupid and say stuff, especially when the people they say it about make them eat their own words. I really hope they win and then Lebron makes another commercial like his last one about something like "told ya so" or something like that! hahahaha That would cool for the Jazz to pick up Jimmer, but I would rather have him go to a team that actually has a chance or is good... hahahaha that way he gets a lot better too.
I cant believe it is still raining! that is a ton! But I am glad everything about the floods is alright, so far. I am also glad you liked my sign off, I am trying to think of things like that for all of them but it is kinda dificult hahaha. Transfers happen today and me and my companion are staying the same for another cambio. Our investigators are doing great and the language is coming along :) The fridge is still broken and the guy hasnt gotten ahold of the person that can fix it so still no cold anything!

Weeks 18 &19

I am still a week behind so I am catching up right now! This is last weeks letter & pictures AND the email I got today!

THIS WEEK!

I am fine now, all my health problems are back to normal and everything is fine :) It does seem like a lot longer than a week since I talked to you guys! It is still really hot and it hasn't rained at all since the last times in the night. HAHAHA Jessica when the softball is coming for your head, either move your head or put your glove in the way ;)!!! hahahaha hope you are okay though :) Glad you had fun with Brad at the temple, too bad dad couldnt go but glad to hear that he is doing better now. :) It makes me happy to know that I was even missed by the dog on my mission :) hahaha Sounds like Jessica is going to have a good summer, they always were for me!!!
The work is coming good :) I am having fun and teaching okay. This last Saturday I had my first baptism!!! His name is Fauto and he is 9 years old. I personally didnt think he was ready but the other Elders did so he was baptised. And I think we have 4/5 line up for the next two weeks and these I feel are ready. It´s fine about the package. I have a list of things I want you to send but I forget it every week. Just things I want but dont desperately need. I liked Boston Rob too but Rupert and one other that was really good at swimming and all the other challenges puts him 3rd for me with the gravedigger coming in 4th ;) hahaha I think I remember going but I am pretty sure I just remember through the pictures that I have seen of it. I want to go again some day though.

You should be getting a picture from my companion with the baptism on it. I dont know for sure but I dont have time to send it so next week I will :)

LAST WEEK

So this is probably going to be repeating a lot of what I said yesterday. But throughout last week we (Elder Gutierrez and I) made a skit for the kids of the ward for Mother´s Day. It is on the 2000 Stripling Warriors. Kinda unoriginal but thats what you get from missionaries who are concerned with other things hahahahaha. It should be pretty good, all we really did was watch the Living Scriptures things and took the dialogue straight from there... hahahaha. The the beginning of the week was rainy and chilly, we would both wake up in the morning and have all of our blankets on us because we got cold in the night. Then in the morning I took my blankets with me and fell asleep in my chair with all the blankets around me, Elder Gutierrez took a picture and it is pretty funny. I will try to send it to you but I dont know if you will get it since you havent gotten my last pictures. I agree that it was very good to hear all your voices yesterday!!! It made me really happy hahaha and definitely made the rest of my day! Glad you are all doing and sounding good, hope you enjoyed your favorite words by me hahahaha. Like I said we got one investigator to come to church yesterday but he has other problems we have to work through before he can get baptized. A lot of people here dont get married, they just live together for 25 years and they think that's alright and fine. But now we have to tell him he has to get married and stuff like that. So I will let you know how that goes... hahaha Yesterday I mentioned I had a headache. So I go home and it is bad, so I take some Tylenol PM so I can fall asleep. I do that just fine but when I wake up the headache is around 8.3 times worse than the day before. Everytime I moved or tried to sit up it felt like someone was just hitting my head with a baseball bat!!! It hurt sooo bad. I have never had a headache like that before, I have had ones that were bad but this one blows them all away. It was all concentrated on one spot too. It was only my left side in the middle that hurt. So I just layed in bed all day until around 1:30 when it started to feel better. By better I mean a regular headache. Then we went and had lunch. Well thats about it. My head still hurts and dont I know why, so we are going to take it a little easier with the walking and everything tonight so it doesn't get very bad again.

OOPS! I am a week behind...This is last week's letter.

Sounds like sports has kept the family busy... as usuall hahaha but I am glad because it would just get boring for you ;) hahaha The week has been slower and it should start to pick up again because everyone got back around Saturday night. The other elders in the house are driving me crazy, both of our fans broke and they have two. Apparently they need them both because they dont let us use one of them. All we want it for is in the night time when we are trying to go to sleep. It gets way hot in our room because we have two windows that let a ton of sun in everyday!!! My Native companion is awesome and we are pretty much exactly alike except for he speaks spanish and I speak English and a little Spanish. Good thing that Bepp and Kandiss´s kids are doing good. and the word that Bubba says when he is talking to Jessica sounds about right ;) hahahahaha I laughed really hard at that part!
Sounds like Jessica and McKenna are kicking some butt at their sports and Tell Kenna next time she goes against that kid to jab him in the back of the ribs or step on his ankle... hahahaha those were always my favorite, especially the ribs one... because the ref couldnt really see it and it actually surprisingly hurts... hahahaha
Elder Gutierrez hit his one year mark in his mission this last Thursday and we also had a Zone Conference. So that was fun. I bought him a treat and thats about it for those. Because the zone conference was basically one of the lessons I had in the MTC but in spanish...hahaha We really cleaned the house this last Friday, and we actually know what color the floor is instead of the slightly covered in dirt look. It looked nice for about half a day and then it was covered in dirt again.
Tell Kenna at 8:30 on Wednesday I was walking back to the house. The part in Jessica´s letter about Tally running in without his shirt on his hilarious!!! Do you know if either Tally or Riley have gotten the letter that I sent them?
Mothers Day, I will be calling on the 8th, I dont know when for sure or where for sure. I heard it is from a members house but thats about all I know besides the date. I will probably be calling you before church but again I dont know for sure...

Well thats about it, short letter so I have time to send some pictures.
