Weekly Letter...Still NO pictures! :(

Hope you are having fun in Bear lake! I am jealous! hahaha Going to see Winnie the Pooh? Is there a new one out? sounds like you were busy makin some jam hahaha My week has been good, we did splits twice this week, one with the zone leaders and one with kids in our ward. The one with the zone leaders was awesome. The Elder I went with is called Elder Atenco, he is around 5 feet tall and 25 years old. He is awesome, I learned a lot of things from him! like examples or ways to teach the lessons. This week we found a family of 6, 5 can be baptized, and the other one cant because she is 6 years old. So I am excited for that, they also went to church this last Sunday and then the boys played soccer with us today. Also we have a baptism for this week. His name is Felipe, and he is a golden investigator because he didnt have any problems and he is just awesome hahaha. The language is good, I still dont understand everything but I do understand a lot more than usual, I think in about 60% Spanish and 40% English hahaha Elder Green is very good, In these two weeks I have learned a lot from him, the only thing I dont like is that he doesnt really let me talk a lot in the lessons when we teach. The other Elders are called Elder Pope and Elder Garcia. They are good, Elder Flores left so now I dont have to hear so much whining and bragging... hahaha Mom there really is nowhere to go on P-days, there are no historical sights no things to do either. That is one of the bigger reasons we play soccer for 2 hours every p-day. But when I change areas and there is actually something to do I will be taking pictures... hahahaha Dont worry I definitely have a bit of your picture taking bug in me... hahaha I am feeling fine, no more headaches because we have a fridge now so that we can have water, because warm water really isnt that great and it doesnt quench your thirst at all.
A sister in our ward does our laundry for us, we just give it to her and she cleans it and then we pick it up, and it is in a washing machine. All my clothes are fine, The insert for the shoe didnt work too well, it was good but it is my arch in my foot that hurts after the day is over... so if you could ask grandma if she has anything to put in the shoe to help support the arch it would be a lot better or any ideas for me to help with that. We only have a walmart in Villahermosa the city, the others are Soriana and Chedraui. They are pretty much like Walmart so it is o.k. and they are about 5-10 minutes away in taxi. I dont know if I have a favorite because I really dont know what the foods names are... hahaha but usually they are good, but they arent great or I wouldnt put them in my favorites list. I would actually prefer it if you asked me questions, I get bored writing about the same things over and over again hahaha I think with your questions it would be better and you will get longer e-mails too.
I really like that quote you gave me and I might actually use it when we talk about prayer or something like that. I really liked that for some reason. hahah Thanks :) ALEX AND PARKER ARE GETTING MARRIED!?!?!?! that is way weird!!! hahahaha

Weekly Letter...Still NO pictures! :(

I am doing good :) glad you had fun at Draper Days and a good week. From what you have said and Grandma sounds like Brad is ready and willing to go out and serve! I am very excited for him and what he is going to learn in the MTC. I miss scones a lot hahaha! They were sooo good! Have I ever met Jessica`s friend Rachel? and who is the girl next to dad in the picture you sent me? Sounds like Harry Potter is really good and I am excited to watch it when I get back! hahaha Glad you guys all had fun and we can always watch it when I get back at 3:00 am so we can still have that experience ;) hahaha I never liked the music that they played at Draper Days but at least this time it was people that I have actually heard of. hahaha I am doing good, the Spanish is a lot better and I understand pretty much everything that we talk about in the lesons. My new companions name is Elder Green, and everyone calls him Elder Verde hahahaha He went to Viewmont Highc School and played soccer his Sophomore and Senior year. I dont really need much in the package, but I do want some reeses or good n' plentys or starbursts or skittles or anything like that oh and I still need a wart remover. Hopefully your foot is good and the wart isnt tooo big ;)
WAHOO!!!! we have a fridge!!! hahahaha I was so excited. Being with Elder Green shows me that I was actually very lazy in the work. :/ I thought we were doing good but within this week we have around 6 possiblities for baptisms. We should be having a baptismal service this Saturday for 2 people but we still arent sure if they will do it or not. We had no investigators at the church the last Sunday, that was depressing because we had about 9 tell us that they would go! hahahaha We are going to be doing Divisions tomorrow and I am going to another area and another Elder is coming here. We played soccer today and I did good hahaha I started putting pictures on the DVD`s today and I will have that sent when they are all on there. I still dont thing that I am going to lose any because I have to 8 GB memory cards... hahahaha Thanks. Elder Guierr3ez is in Frontera Tabasco and that is where Elder Green came from so they literally just changed spots. Well That is about it Thanks for the letter, have a good time and be safe. This weeks Letter...

Yes I do feel like time is flying by, I am going to be done with 7 months!!! Glad you had a good time at girls camp, you are always so stressed before you leave but always come back happy :) Glad it went well for Brad, I am so excited for him... hahahaha It (the MTC) is awesome. WHAT!!!! Marcus has his mission call!!! That is crazy!!! That is the same mission that Steven Richards went to but not Spanish Speaking. Sounds like you had a fun little party at our house with the USA game! Thats cool that you are going to go down and watch her! hahaha Can I ask what Riley´s note said? :)
So I dont have a lot of time this week either so this is going to be a very short note. We had to to everytihing for the transfers, I am not going but Elder Green is coming. He is from Utah. He played High School soccer and that is all I know about him. If you send a package send it to the same person :) I will email you a lot next week and send pics I promise, Sorry :/

Last Weeks Letter!

Here is last weeks letter. Sorry I didn't get it posted, but it came on the 4th of July & I left for Girls Camp early the next morning! I will post today's letter as soon as it comes through. He is on the computer as I type this, reading all his emails!


Dear Mom,

Sounds like you had fun flying, I am jealous, I think I am the only one of the family that hasn't gone with Max. The weather is fine, it is still hot with the random rain storms, but it is a bit cloudier than usual. No baptisms but new investigators, after contacting we got around 6 new investigators that could turn into baptisms. Yes I am very glad that I missed the sanding of the wood hahahaha Glad Nat had a good baptism. If I remember mine correctly Bepp kinda gave the opening prayer, Grandma Joan and J.D. gave talks, Dad baptized, grandpas watched, and grandma Dixie gave the closing prayer? I think I asked for a wart remover, weight rope, a new True to the Faith book (In English), and Licorice (little bit of all three flavors: red, black, and chocolate) and that's it.
Other than actually starting to work and doing everything we need to nothing really exciting has happened. We had good lessons with all of our new investigators (Edith, Hector, Emma, and Alfredo) They all seem excited and want to learn about what we have. So that is good. No I haven't bought my fan yet, I am waiting to hear about transfers, and then I will if I am staying. Still no fridge, the President said he would come and look for a new one with us but he hasnt come yet, and that was 3 weeks ago... So I dont know I am just trying not to worry too much about it because everytime I think about it I get mad and frustrated. For food we eat cereal without milk because it is even worse warm, try to enjoy warm water and that is about it. We also cant buy any food that needs to stay cool so that limits a lot. I did get your package and it was very good. They liked the treats and they say thank you :) The note from Tally made me very happy, it is the second one I have got and I read it 3 times hahahaha it was good and it also made me realize how much I miss hearing how he and everyone is doing hahahaha. Well thats about it, Happy 4th of July! I am bummed I wont get to see fireworks, you should take a picture of one and send it to me :) Love you guys have fun. Have fun at camp and be safe don't let the black bears bite ;)
