3 Weeks behind...How did that happen?!

Letter from March 12th...Good to know he still has his sense of humor.  P.S.  he really didn't do anything to his companion(just in case anyone thought he was serious)

Dear Mom,

Has my birthday card not gotten to you yet? :/ Sorry I thought it would have, that is why I didnt say anything :( But since it hasnt gotten there yet I guess a late HAPPY BIRTHDAY is better than not getting one. Sorry :( I really did think that the card might get there in time.
HAHAHA I never had a concussion, with me it was usually my ankle or my knee. But mainly my ankle. I am glad I never got a concussion though... yucky It sounds like Kenna needs an MRI not a head scan hahaha Also, with the MRI we can finally find out what else is wrong with her ;) hehehehehe Love ya Kenna. :)

I feel a lot better, Crab is gross along with everything else in the sea, except tuna and shrimp. hahaha I really didnt like it, every bite was a bit of suffering. I think I have told you all the weird things that I have eaten: Racoon, Iguana, Alligator, Crocodile, Crab, and I think that is about it. Yes, this ward likes to play soccer and there are some really good players here too. But the only thing is that I have a companion that says sports bore him and a lot of other things that I really like.
I am doing a better with the companion, I talked with him and we settled some things, he now has a big bruise on his left eye and I think I broke his nose...... hahaha no just kidding, but seriously I did talk to him and we are a little bit better now though. O.k. I will send some other pics, I just think those princesses are hilarious and everytime we walk passed them I laugh hahaha.
The name of the ward is Paraiso in the stake Cardenas. The normal attendance is about 120-140 people. So it is the biggest ward that I have been in, my plan for the now 4.8 months I will be here is to divide the ward :) The families that we have been teaching are being a bit difficult right now, one of them (the family of 5) we have not been able to teach in a week because they have not been home. It is hard to find them because the girls have school in the afternoon and they all work too, so we have to go in the morning and they are all getting ready to leace and things like that, so that only leaves us a good lesson on the weekends .... it is a bit harder to do. The other family is good but they couldnt go to church this Sunday because the moms dad got sick and they went to see him. This happened overnight on Saturday, so Saturday night she was good and we were going to pass by her house at 8:30..... but at around 8:00 we get a text telling us that she isnt home because she had to go and see if her dad is o.k. ugh... hahah But yesterday we found three more people that are really good, they said that they feel the same way as Joseph Smith and really want to know where to go and what to do in their lives. :)
On p-days we can go to the beach, we can go to some ruins, there is a paintball place here, we can play soccer... but we usually end up doing about nothing... but when he leaves they will be better. hahahaha And for the zone conferences, it is when the President says that he wants to have one... There isnt like a schedule for them.
On Wednesday I had my suit dry cleaned. It is so much better, it was starting to smell bad and it had some weird stains on it that I dont know are from. Tuesday we had a zone meeting and lost about 5/8 of the day that we had planned.
Could you send me the banana bars recipe, there is a family here that always makes the missionaries favorite dessert, especially if the are American because they like to know them.
I think that is about it..... Well have a good week, be good, stay safe, have fun, remember who you are and what you stand for (that means we stand as representatives of Christ because when we were baptized that is the covenant that we made), and know that I love you all :)

Letter from 3-5-12

What is that big green chair doing downstairs!!! hahahaha Wow hahaha I miss this the snow.... I think I might need some new pants... I am doing some sit ups...  not very many but some hahaha I am doing good I got sick on Wednesday after eating crab... and threw up three times that night. I felt just as bad on Thursday so I couldnt do anything. But we found some good families this week and they are awesome. Just need to come to church and it will be all good. They have prayed and even read in the Book of Mormon when we have asked them too. :) So now we just need to keep finding people like them (chosen people. I dont know if that works but that is the translation from spanish). I really am doing really good, I love this ward, they are all awesome and I just like being with them. They are really helpfull and awesome. Well Sorry but this is a short letter too :/ But here are some pictures. Here is the lady we baptized, me cutting my own hair (I will stick with Trudy when I get home), and The princessess... or the princes in disguise! HAHAHAHA if they really looked like that in the movies, no one would watch them.
Love you guys, have a good week and be good.
Love Buddy.

Not sure if I should have posted this picture or not.  It might disappear in a while!

Last Weeks Letter!

Sorry to those of you who actually read this...I got behind this week.  This is Elder Evans letter from February 27, 2012

I remember going to the symphony for school once, I dont remember what grade or anything like that but I remember going. Glad Tally is going good. :) hahaha I remember something that I would like in my package. . .  Beef Jerkey :) I should be getting this package with the CD and foot stuff this upcoming week :) We are teaching quite a few people that are cool and exciting hahaha. I have no idea who the missionaries were in our ward/area when I left hahahaha I think I saw them twice total. You should go out and work with them someday :) About the thing that you wrote me two weeks ago, I think going to school would be good but I dont really know what I want to do or where I would go... What options do I have all I know of is SLCC and UVU that are little ones.
Well to start things off... I am getting FAT!!! my white pants that I had when I left (Yes the same ones where I had to make the waist smaller on both sides) are a very tight fit with the pants fully expanded... hahahaha The last couple weeks we have had baptisms, I baptized a kid named Carlos last Saturday and this next Saturday we have another baptism set up and she is awesome, she has read all of the scriptures and pamphlets we have left her and she loves it all. :) I will try to upload the last two baptisms that I have had but I dont know if they have the same thing that I used in the last area to make the photo smaller. We have two families that we are teaching and a couple more people that arent families but just single people. They are pretty good and we are going to put a baptismal date with them this week. We usually do it the first lesson but for some reason we didnt do it this time with them.
Well I am having a tough time with my companion...

Other than that I am doing good, I can't wait for these next three weeks to pass.  Glad that everything is good up there and your all doing good in the hood ;) hahahaha Love you guys
