After my computer crashed last week, I didn't know if I would be back online for a while, but luckily I am only a week behind, Here is yesterday's letter. He sounds so happy! Thanks to everyone that keeps him in their prayers and reads this blog! As you can tell by all the HAHAHA's he is still laughing and smiling!
Dear Family,
The rope is needed so I have something other to do with exercise other than pushups and 2 situps... hahahahaha! Really, all the weeks are really fast for me... It is way weird hahaha! Dad is awesome! That is so cool that he got them all back. (pictures) I prayed way hard for it too, haha! I dont think I have ever prayed for anything like that before... Go Jessica!!! wahoo that is awesome that she made the team! I understand that she is busy, because I had summers just like hers. Tell her to have fun first and do everything she wants to and then e-mail me last because I want to hear about the fun things hahaha! Just tell Kenna to go and kick Tally and Riley`s butts hahahaha! Have fun in St. George, You might actually have warm weather!!! hahaha
I am doing good and yes I did get the package :) thanks :) It made me really happy and made my week. I also really like the letters that everyone wrote me :) Tell them all thanks for me :) We had a Multi Zone conference on Wednesday and Pres. Tenorio (area president) was there and , of the parts that I understood, gave a good talk. :) that is also when I got my package, so it was a good day. The last week we have had some really bad luck with our investigators, they either have not been there or have been sick. One actually went to the hospital. So yeah, but we are still teaching and everything. We got Lorenzo to commit to a date for his baptism, unfortunately he wants it on his birthday...... which is on September 20..... hahaha so we are going to work on bringing that date a little closer hahaha! We sang a hymn this last Sunday and I thought it was pretty good but then again I was banned from singing with rockband at our house so who knows hahaha! We sang "We Are All Enlisted", first verse Spanish, Second English, Third first part in Spanish and then at the chorus I changed to English. It was very well planned out but probably not very well sung hahaha. Then we had a Baptism in the ward and they asked me and Elder Gutierrez to give the talks. I gave mine on Baptism and Confirmation. It was sooo cool, I just talked!!! I didnt have to think of how to say a word or anything, I just talked, made sense, and did a pretty good job. It made me really happy. The people we teach varies a lot, the Lorenzo guy said that he was an addict to a drug, and now he is going to be baptized, We are trying to complete another family but we still need to get the dad to take his Jesus down off the wall, so Elder Gutierrez is making lead on a lesson about Idols... I am really nervous! Everyone that we teach is usually excited to go to all the events that the church is having and stuff. We took Mayo to learn how to make a type of bread I cant remember the name of, we also took her daughter and showed them the baptismal font and immediately the daughter smiled and said she wanted it. hahaha, and then after my companion was like yes! when we win the kids over the parents always follow!!! So now we just need to teach them the lessons :)
That's about it, have a fun and awesome summer! But dont do too many fun things without me ;) hahaha just kidding do anything you guys want to. Be safe, have fun, and do everything you do the best you can :)
Love Buddy

He is loving his mission!! You and Roger have raised wonderful kids and should be really proud of all of them. I still can't believe he is on a mission....where did the time go? He will be home befor you know it, married, making a family...ok ok...I am sorry. As a mom I know that wasn't fair. But Brandon was home in a blink of an eye from his mission. Since he has been home which is one year, he has gone through the police academy and is getting married in August...sheeesh...it all went so fast!
