Last Week's Letter 12-12-11

So I am sending one e-mail to you both (the same one) because we got to the computers late... The Christmas party that we are having in the mission got changed to the 22nd, so that is when we will end up getting our stuff now. I am sure I will still enjoy every single one of the presents. The music I asked for was more of Mo-Tab  (especially  If you could hie to Kolob, Be Still my soul, bigger ones like that), The Forgotten Carol music, Josh Groban, Good classical music stuff like that. Well we can do it pretty much any time of the day. We also have the opportunity to do SKYPE... I think that means we will get to see each other... :) So I still need to figure all of that out and I will let you know. I am kinda really a lot more excited hahaha :) I really don't care what you put in the Christmas letter for me, tell them I am happy :) hahahaha Your are right 5 pounds per baptism would leave you not too much to work with hahaha maybe one pound per baptism would work....? Thanks for sending the soup info. I am going to make it with a sister down here, she does have the stuff to be able to do it.
WAHOO!!! KENNA that is awesome. Good job on making the ODP team, I never did. That is awesome, you need to keep letting me know how it is all going with it. :) Just keep playing hard and listen to what John or whoever your coach says and you will really learn a lot.
1. No none of the members have computers. We go to a place like normal that is just filled with computers to let everyone use.
2.  We have a set day with a set member and we always eat with them on that day throughout the week. So Tuesday is Hna. Paz and she is every Tuesday.
3. The same things... hahaha this is definitley the poorer area so some of the food really isnt that great... hahaha
4. I will try to figure out everything and let you know as soon as I know. (Christmas phone call)
5. Yeah it is kinda a pain but not to big, we travel on like Greyhound buses but here they are called TRT or ADO. It isnt too bad though.  (Transfers)
6. We see other missionaries every Tuesday when we have our district meeting. That is usually the only time though. We are an hour away from the closest missionaries.
7. We have had to let a lot of people go because they werent progressing. We are still teaching that one couple and we are planning on marrying them and then baptizing them all this week. I am excited. We dont have many more than them, we need to now find more because we let most of them go.
8. PERSONAL INFO.
9. I will be at the mission home for one full day probably, I am planning on going to the temple to buy some videos and other things, I am fine without shoes right now and I would rather have the stuff from the temple anyway. But the things that they said we are planning on doing sounds pretty good. :) I dont remember them right now but I will let you know when we do it.l
10. They are splitting it up in halves the west side and the east side. I am on the East side and so is Elder Gutierrez, I am excited to see him, he only has like 3 months left, that is so crazy!!!
11. Best part of the week is that the wife of the guy we are trying to divorce got back and it will be a lot faster than we had thought. Worst part is that none of the investigators that we had were progressing so we had to let them go and maybe the seed was planted and farther down in the road they will be able to talk with more missionaries.
12. So the cool experience was one that our investigator had, he said that he started reading the Book of Mormon at like 10:30 and before he knew it it was 1:30 in the morning. He said he just didnt want to put it down, his wife had a similar experience :) That was cool :)
Oh, Tally... hahaha He has had problems with his knee before for the same thing I think. So I am just glad it wasnt the ACL or MCL or the other bigger ones. That still stinks though. Well thats about it for me, I am doing good, happy, and safe. Hope you guys are doing good too :) Love you.
Love Elder Evans

P.S. keep playing good in everything sis and Kenna. Oh, and school too ;) hehehehehe
