51 Weeks to Go! But who's counting???

Here is this weeks letter.  I wonder how bad his leg  really was.  I am sure I am getting a picture of it once it was doing better.  These are more pictures from the place he went last week, "Agua Azul".


I am doing good :) So I am going to try to send a lot of pictures today since the other ones worked :) Yes I miss the snow, especially during the time when it was Christmas. It was kinda depressing to not have a white Christmas or to be able to go out and play in it hahahaha


How is the work?  Did that couple ever get the divorce so they can get married and baptized?1. The work is going o.k... we cant seem to keep with any of the investigators. They just dont want to listen, they say they dont have time, they move for school, or they just dont do what we need them to do. No the couple still hasnt gotten divorced, the wife turned on us and moved to Villahermosa (5ish hours away) So it is going to make it hard to get all that done now... :/ But we did find 5 more this Saturday and four of them went to church. So we will see what happens with them.


Do you have any new investigators?2. I kinda answered that in #1 there names are Reyna, Santa, Nancy, Don Carlos, and Clever.


Do you knock doors all day or do you have many referals?3. We do more just contacting in the street then knocking on doors. We had a lot of referrals but they didnt give us an address or anything like that and then we told them to find one and they never did... 


Have you had to shave yet?  I keep meaning to ask this question and forget every time!!!  :o)4. I shave every once in a while, I think I have shaved a total of 5 or 6 times... hahahaha so once every two months. Elder Hartvigsen has an electric shaver and I have used that some times too. I am just going to buy one of those when I get back, it works better.


Did you ever get to make chicken noodle soup?5. Well the lady I gave it to to make made it two Tuesdays ago. But I wasnt there to eat it because one of the other elders had to whine to stay in his area for splits and he won... So I wasnt in my area that day to eat it. :( But today we made French Toast for them :) It was really good.


 Did you ever get the little books that had all the Mormonad pictures in them?  I thought they were kinda cool.6. Yeah I did. :) I took the mormon ad things out and put in my pics, I saved them though in a different thing. Yes they are pretty good. :)


Can you email other missionaries or just family?7. Just Family, so I will have to send you the letter to send to Tally when I send one.


How are the 3 little boys doing that you baptized?  Who do they come to church with?8.They are good, and they still come to church. The 12 year old Tereso is passing the sacrament. :)


Have you ever had a hot shower since you have been in Mexico? 9. I have had about 3 or 4 total hahaha but It isnt too bad, it usually feels good to shower with cold water.


Have you eaten or seen anything strange lately?10. No not really, the drunks and the funny things they do are not strange any more just normal hahahahaha


How are things going with your companion?11. They are going good, we work well together. 


Best & worst part of the last two weeks?12. Best part was the trip we got to go on to Agua Azul. That was awesome, it is so cool. When we go back we are going to go and swim in it. This Sunday was also very good because we had the four investigators in the church.


 It amazes me how many people ask about you.Who asks about me? hahahaha I am doing good, I am going to end it now though so I can send a good amount of pictures. :)

Spider Bite

To explain the last one, I got a spider bite!!! It hurts like crazy. I have to take pills and rub a cream on it everyday. I also have to squeeze some type of liquid out too. hahahaha

This is from his companion's letter:

Elder Evans was bitten by a spider and we had to go to the doctor, it was bad, but now it looks fine.  And on a happier side, this morning we made French toast, we don’t make much not having way to cook in our apartment, and it was fun to have more Americanized food for a change.

Just one more thing for this mom to worry about!!!

It is a really good thing that I KNOW he is in the Lord's hands, or I would be down there in a heart beat to bring him home!
