A great Week In El Triunfo and excitement to come...

Dear Mom,

First of all.....How is your leg???  That was a nasty spider bite, and I am sure that I didn't get to see it at its worst!  Do you know what kind of spider it was?  I really need more details for these things!  When, where, why....
My leg is fine, I dont know what kind of spider it was... No you didnt see it at its worst, that is the time after one of the doctors here squeezed it and a ton came out of it!!! It was pretty gross hahaha. I dont remember what day it happened exactly like two Friday or Saturdays ago. I was in my bed sleeping when it happened becuase I would have felt it otherwise. Why... I dont know why ask the spider ;) hahahahehehe

I am doing good though :) Nothing else is wrong with me. (I have a feeling I am asking for it with that comment) Yes Agua Azul was awesome and I also have some more awesome news about that!!! We are going to go and baptize there this Saturday and the area president and the photographers for the Liahona are going to be there!!! I am so excited!!! HAHAHAHA WAHOO!!!! It is going to be awesome, baptizing in the waters of Mormon. ;) It was a zone activity (last week) so the whole zone got to go so about 14-18 Elders.
No, it is not still rainy here and it is starting to heat up :/ hahaha The hot months are starting to roll in :/ April, MAY, June, and July... ugh
Wow good job sis you finally passed the test ;) hahahahaha I didnt think you could even take then test 4 times ;) hehehe The only sports info that I get are from Dad, and that is just perfect because all the sports things I would get from here I wouldnt be interested in... I did see the cruise thing, I dont know what happened but I did see the pics this morning when we were doing our laundry, it looks crazy... how is it still floating like that?
Well not too much happened in my week... It was a good working week, on Wednesday we went to a little part city of el Triunfo and we found a girl there that only speaks English. Hahaha so we taught her in English and it was so weird and kinda hard!!! But it was good, she liked it. She is from Arkansas. We are probably going to be baptizing a family of four this Saturday at Agua Azul, they are awesome. They are a very humble family but whenver they come to church stuff, they all shower and wear their best clothes they have. It is awesome :) Saturday we took my new BoM and Bible to get a case on them, I am getting snake skin for my Bible and Crocodile skin for my Bom!!!!! THEY ARE GOING TO BE SOOOOO SWEET!!! I get them this Wednesday. Yesterday the President came for church and it went really well I loved it. He got the members excited again and arranged the Branch a bit more. Still dont have a Pres. but the first councilor is now in charge of most of it.
Well that is most of what happened this week. It was pretty good, I will let you know how it all goes with Agua Azul this next week. Love you guys, stay safe, and have fun, and remember who you are and what you stand for. ;)

Love Elder Evans

I forgot about a meeting I had this afternoon, so I wasn't able to ask all my usual questions.  It is so good to hear the excitement and love he has for the members.  Nothing better than "Letter Day" to make a mom smile with pride!

Thanks for reading his blog! AND for the prayers that are said on his behalf!

Kristi

This picture was sent to Grandma Dixie from a friend of hers.  One of the Elders is her nephew.  What a small world!
